CONDITIONS
These terms govern your use of vedumi.in and any order, commission or inquiry placed with VEDUMI, operated by Heta Patel in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
Our Products
Every VEDUMI piece is handmade using resin, pigment and, where applicable, natural or customer-provided materials (such as wedding varmalas or dried flowers). Because each piece is handcrafted individually:
- Minor variations in colour, texture, bubbles or veining compared to reference photos are natural and expected — they are a feature of handmade resin art, not a defect.
- Screen colours may render slightly differently from the finished physical piece.
- Dimensions for custom pieces may vary by a small margin from the requested size due to the handmade pouring process.
Orders & Custom Commissions
Custom and made-to-order pieces are produced only after details (size, colour, timeline and price) are confirmed with you. Once production has begun on a custom commission, the order generally cannot be cancelled, as materials and time have already been committed to your specific piece.
Estimated timelines shared with you are made in good faith based on current order volume, but resin curing is a time-dependent natural process and delays may occasionally occur.
Customization Requests
Many products on this site can be customized directly at checkout — select the customization option, describe what you'd like, and optionally attach a reference image. For fully bespoke pieces, or if you'd simply prefer to talk it through, you're welcome to contact us by phone or WhatsApp and share your reference images directly; we'll discuss the idea and provide a price estimate.
Once you confirm you're happy with the estimate, an advance payment is required before production begins, with the balance due before dispatch. We do not start work on any customized or bespoke piece without this confirmed advance.
Customized and made-to-order pieces typically take 14–15 days to complete from confirmation of the order and receipt of the advance payment. More complex commissions (large furniture, varmala preservation, etc.) may take longer — we will always confirm a realistic timeline with you before production begins, and we aim to deliver every order on time and in proper, careful packaging.
Pricing & Payment
Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) and may vary based on size, materials, complexity and customization. Some products are priced on a quantity basis — the per-piece price reduces at listed quantity thresholds (bulk/corporate pricing), shown on the relevant product page. Custom orders typically require an advance payment to begin production, with the balance due before dispatch, as communicated at the time of order.
Online payments are processed securely via Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details on our servers.
Shipping & Delivery
Domestic (India): We ship across Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara) and PAN India. Standard orders placed via checkout include standard domestic delivery. Made-to-order pieces generally require 10–14 days for handcrafting and chemical curing before dispatch. Transit within India typically takes 3–7 business days via tracked domestic couriers.
International Shipping: We ship worldwide to destinations including the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the UAE. International shipping charges are determined based on destination country, parcel dimensions, and dead/volumetric weight. Delivery is handled via tracked air express services (DHL Express, FedEx, or India Post Air Parcel), typically arriving within 5–9 business days after dispatch. Customs Duties & Taxes: For international orders, all import duties, customs tariffs, VAT/GST, and clearance fees levied by the destination country's customs authority are the legal responsibility of the customer/recipient.
Transit Damage Policy: We take every precaution with export-grade packaging — triple-layer bubble wrap, foam corner guards, and rigid export cartons or crates — to protect fragile items in transit. Once a parcel is handed to our courier partner, transit is outside our direct control; however, if a piece arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs or video of the outer packaging and the damaged item, and we'll work with you and our courier partner in good faith to resolve it.
Returns & Cancellations
Because most VEDUMI pieces are made to order and one-of-a-kind, we generally do not accept returns for change of mind. Exceptions apply for items that arrive damaged or materially different from what was agreed — contact us and we'll work with you in good faith to make it right.
Varmala & Memory Preservation Orders
For preservation pieces made using items you send us (varmalas, flowers, fabric, etc.), we take reasonable care in handling and preparing your materials, but VEDUMI is not responsible for natural fading, shrinkage or colour change in organic materials that occurs during the preservation process — this is an inherent characteristic of preserving natural items in resin.
Intellectual Property
All designs, photography, and original artwork shown on this website are the intellectual property of VEDUMI / Heta Patel. Purchasing a physical piece does not transfer reproduction rights to the buyer; our designs and product photography may not be copied or reproduced commercially without permission.
Limitation of Liability
VEDUMI provides products "as is" based on the handmade nature of resin art. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from the use, display, or handling of a purchased piece after delivery.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most current version.
