Not just a resin art studio. A quiet argument, made in resin — that a girl from Ahmedabad can start something of her own, build it with her own hands, and make it last.
Where it began
Every VEDUMI piece starts the same way ours did — with someone deciding to try, before she was sure it would work.
Heta Patel didn't set out to build a business. She set out to make one good piece of resin art. Then another. Then one for a friend, then a stranger, then a stranger's friend — until what began as a craft on a kitchen table in Ahmedabad had quietly become a studio, an order book, and a name: VEDUMI.
Nobody handed her a blueprint for this. She wrote her own, one poured, cured, sanded piece at a time.
The kitchen table is a studio now, and the order book is fuller than she ever expected — but the way each piece gets made hasn't changed. It's still one pour, one cure, one finish at a time, by the same pair of hands.

Why we really started this
Ahmedabad, like most places, has no shortage of opinions about what a woman should spend her time on. VEDUMI exists partly to answer them — not with words, but with a growing shelf of finished work, real orders, and a business that pays its own way.
Every commission VEDUMI completes is proof of something bigger than the piece itself: that a woman can start a business from nothing, run it on her own terms, and be taken seriously for the quality of her work — not in spite of who she is, but because of the discipline, patience and care she brings to it.
We started VEDUMI to make something beautiful. We keep going to show every girl watching that she's allowed to build something too.
So every order matters twice over — once for the person unwrapping it, and once for the quieter point it proves: that this was built here, by her, and that it works.
What we hope you take from this
If you're a customer, we hope you feel it in the piece you receive — the care, the deliberateness, the refusal to rush something that deserves time.
If you're a girl or a woman reading this and turning over an idea of your own — a craft, a small business, a "someday" — we hope VEDUMI is proof that someday can start on an ordinary afternoon, with materials on a table and nobody's permission but your own.
That's the whole reason this page exists. Not to sell you a tray or a clock, but to put one more example in front of you of what "starting anyway" can turn into.
