RESIN POOJA THALI

About our resin pooja thalis

A resin pooja thali is a puja plate cast in epoxy resin instead of steel or brass. Colour, pressed flowers and gold leaf are set into the resin while it cures, so the finished thali is glossy, light to hold during aarti and easy to wipe clean, and no two pours come out exactly alike. Every Vedumi thali is poured and finished by hand by Heta Patel at our studio in Shela, South Bopal, Ahmedabad, with prices starting at ₹149.

Designs you can choose from

• Ganesh thalis in turquoise, lilac, purple and sunset-galaxy, 6 inch, each with a gold Ganesh emblem and two built-in diya cups.
• Shubh Labh and Mint Blossom thalis in five sizes, from 6 to 14 inch.
• Premium thalis with brass diyas in peacock teal, royal pink, purple and blue, with Ganesh or Gayatri mantra inscriptions, from 10 to 14 inch.
• For the home mandir: roli plates, a Ganesh roli pouch, a Kanha jhula (Laddu Gopal swing) and a pearl and ivory marble-effect sinhasan.
• Personalised pooja thalis: baby shower and wedding return-gift thalis engraved with names, and a fully personalised Haldi thali.

Which size is right?

A 5 or 6 inch thali suits daily aarti and makes an easy return gift. The 8 and 10 inch sizes hold diyas, kumkum, rice and flowers for festivals, and the 12 and 14 inch thalis are made for weddings, griha pravesh and a full Diwali Lakshmi puja. Every design's sizes and prices are in the table below.

For Diwali, Navratri and return gifts

The 5 inch mini flower thali and the 6 inch Ganesh thalis are priced for bulk, so they work as Diwali, wedding and baby shower return gifts, and the per-piece price drops as the quantity goes up. Roli plates, the Kanha jhula and name-engraved thalis are also popular custom pooja items for gifting to family and new homes. See our Diwali return gifts for festive sets and ordering dates.

Caring for your thali

Wipe it with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from harsh chemical cleaners, which can dull the glossy finish.
